Shona and Simon decided to hold their intimate wedding at the beautiful Storrs Hall.
Storrs Hall is a grand Georgian mansion, set on 17 acres of grounds, on the shores of Lake Windermere.
The weather was stunning on Shona and Simon’s wedding day, which was lucky as they had chosen an outdoor ceremony on the shores of Lake Windermere. The bride looked stunning as she walked the pathway down to the ceremony with her flower girl dressed in yellow. The ceremony took place with the couple standing in the beautifully ornate shore side Garden Pavilion and their guests in seats around the entrance. The couple’s son joined the couple during their vows, it was a very touching moment.
After the ceremony, guests and the bride and groom enjoyed champagne and nibbles on the front lawn, accompanied by the Northern String Quartet. Everyone was then treated to a birds of prey show, a truly unique experience!
The hotel put on a fantastic spread for the newlyweds and their guests and while everyone was enjoying this, Shona, Simon and their son came with me for a private photoshoot before hopping on a yacht for a quick jaunt around the lake!
It was a superb day for all and massive congratulations to Shona and Steve on their marriage!
