Caroline and Sean chose the stunning Grange Hotel for their wedding.
The Grange Hotel was built in 1866 in an elegantstyle and is situated on the southern fringe of the timelessly beautiful lakes overlooking the charming unspoilt little seaside town of Grange-over-Sands. An excellent wedding venue, the hotel has a timeless grandeur, with sumptuous interiors and staff that created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere that ensured that Caroline, Sean and their guests forgot about the wet weather.
The rain all day also made the wedding preparations a little livelier than they would have been with the youngest guests being unable to let off steam outside, resulting in an impromptu children’s party in the hotel with half-dressed youngsters tearing about the hotel whilst eating crisps (we’d all do it if we could get away with it!)
I did get a chance to take some good shots throughout the day and in particular in the woods within the grounds of the hotel. Early on, I learned that Sean and his best man-stroke-business partner are videographers and that Caroline’s brother is a wedding photographer. So no pressure there then!
A small, relaxed and child friendly wedding at an elegant venue in a stunning location. Congratulations to Caroline and Sean on getting married and giving yourselves, your family and your friends a wonderful day to remember!
