In addition to reaching the finals in 4 of the categories, We were very pleased to win no less than 12 awards of merit in the mpa photographer of the year awards 2009; including 7 in weddings, 4 in portraiture and 1 in fashion and beauty.
This is, apparently, an unusally high number :)

A merit is awarded if the print sores over 80 out of a theoretical 100, and requires creativity, visual energy and style as well as high standards of skill in composition and use of light.
