Amanda & Nick’s Langdale Chase Wedding
Nick and Amanda chose stunning Langdale Chase Hotel on the shores of Lake Windermere to hold their lake district wedding. The hotel boasts beautiful landscaped gardens and breath taking lake and mountain views. It is no wonder that with its outstanding location and luxurious interior it is a popular filming location for TV and films. Shooting there is always a real pleasure for me. Amanda’s flowers were delivered by the uber talented Alex from The Flower Shop and the Venue was dressed by Yvonne of Ambience Venue Styling.
Amanda and Nick arranged for the wedding rings to be delivered by a specially trained beautiful white barn owl, supplied by Talon Falconry. It was an exciting moment as the owl flew over the heads of the guests to deliver the rings. All credit to the owl for performing his duty so diligently! (I didn’t know if there was a plan b should the owl choose to take off with the rings?)
As if a ring bearing owl wasn’t enough wildlife at the wedding, Nick and Amanda’s guests were also treated to a spot of ferret racing in the afternoon viagra precio farmacia. Pipes were laid out on the ground and the ferrets were each allocated a pipe to race through. To win the ferrets had to run to the end of their pipe and back again. The ferrets proved to be a hit with Nick and Amanda’s guests. Though one particular young ferret named Charlie, had his own idea of where he wanted to go and headed off in the wrong direction and it took thirty minutes of patient coaxing to retrieve him! These ferrets are looked after by Barrie of north pennines ferret welfare & boarding.
Nick, Amanda and their guests then enjoyed a Hog Roast on the hotels terrace with its breath taking views of the lake and mountains. An original, memorable and unique wedding in beautiful surroundings. Congratulations to Nick and Amanda.
