The lancashire wedding photography of Hazel and David made a pleasant change from my usual lake district wedding photography, with a much softer landscape. The couple were married in Abbeystead village church and had the reception in an Ashfells Marquee on her fathers farm, who made a point of clearing all the cows away for days beforehand to avoid cow pats 🙂 The catering was by New fields catering of Lancaster.

It was a gorgeous sunny day, but amazingly windy!!  I couldn’t believe it when I found out that four of the bridal party were called David!! both fathers, the groom and the best man! Worse, they all had surnames beginning with W 🙂

We had done a pre wed shoot previously, so I knew they were an attractive couple, but Hazel really did look absolutely stunning on her wedding day in a beautiful pronuptia dress supplied by eternity bridal in warrington.  She travelled to the church on a horse and cart from Lytham Shires and her wedding cake was made by her sister in law who does these for a living as creative cakes, based in lancaster. Her day was videod by sarah and tony from marry me films.

If you want to be notified when the whole wedding gallery goes live, go here to our lake district and lancashire wedding photography gallery, and in the meantime, here is a sneak preview of some images from the day….
