Emma and John chose the magnificent splendour of Armathwaite Hall to hold their wedding.
The couple made a striking pair with Emma looking radiant in her bridal dress and John in full RAF dress uniform.
Located in beautiful Keswick, Armathwaite Hall is set in one of the most stunning locations overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake and framed by the dramatic Skiddaw mountain and lake district fells. Magnificently set in the secluded splendour of 400 acres of deer park and woodland, it makes for an impressive and romantic wedding venue.
Wedding preparations were a family affair for the bride with mum styling Emma’s hair and Aunt Katherine providing the flower arrangements.
Though there was some rain, there were gaps in the showers to get outside and enjoy some sunshine and the views. Emma, John and their guests enjoyed drinks outside after the ceremony. There was also a sunny period just before the wedding meal which gave me the opportunity to get some really good shots.
A lovely and friendly wedding set in stunning surroundings. Congratulations to Emma and John for getting married and for creating a wonderful day for yourselves, your family and your friends to remember.
